Can proforma invoice be deleted?

if yes/ no then why?

Dear Deepak

No you cannot delete the proforma but you can change the status of the proforma.

Go to VF02, input the proforma reference and click from top menu bar "Billing document -- Complete". Now check the document flow.

Hello,

You can't delete any billing documets. But you can Reverse the billing document by VF11. But in the case of proforma, there are not accounting documents generated, so there is no need of cancelling the proforma. You can't cancel it.

Hi there,

Why do you want to cancel / delete the proforma invoice? It anyway will not post into A/c'g.

Moreover you cannot delete the billing docs. You can only cancel them. If A/c posting is already done, 1st reverse the A/c postings & then cancel the billing doc.

Invoice can't be deleted manually {line sales order and delivery} doesn't matter which type it is...

But, you can cancell it...

Why you want to delete it as it is a Pro forma invoice itself which doesn't hit in FI?
