Confirmation of PO

The standard WF WS10400002 is triggred on confirming the goods

i have written a Check FM to see that some of the conditions are satisfied on triggering the workflow

so if that conditions are not met the workflow should not be triggered and therefore should not be sent to the requestor

for approval

but whats happening is,when the WF is not triggered the

status of the Confirmation is not set to APPROVED

it still shows awaiting approval

I know there is FM BBP_PD_CONF_STATUS_CHANGE_WF

to change the status of the Confirmation

but is there any BADI triggered on confirmation where i can use this FM .

Instead of finding work around, find the root cause of it. Make sure the WF without approval is active(WS10400010 ).
