how to close Open Outbound Deliveries

please could u tell me how to close Open Outbound Deliveries?

Ramesh,

The delivery will be open until the PGI is completed and fully invoiced. If you don't want to inoice, then PGI needs to be reversed and delete the delivery.

If all the subsequent documents are created for full qunaity and still the delivery is open, then you will need to set the status as completed in the debug level. Consult your ABAP expert.

The process of delivery is in process status even if subsequent functions like picking and pgi is completed

To close the delivery you have to bill it

Hi,

As already mentioned, if the complete delivery is open, you can delete the delivery document itself.

If some of the items are not open, while some other items are open, then you can delete only those items which are open.

Hi ramesh,

Delete the line items in the delivery(VL02n). and delete the Delivery( in menu bar--out bound delivery-delete) from menu. the delivery would be deleted. In this way you can close the delivery.
