Dear Goutham

Go to VN01, click on "Intervals". Now again click on "Interval" on top so that a small box will appear. Input the number in the left tab and press "F4" so that system will propose list of number ranges that are available. Choose the available one

thanks

Hi,

Its XDN1, not VN01 and my problem is as below -

In system customer number range defined as below -

IN 9900AAAA 9900ZZZZ (External)

when im defining new series as below -

I0 9900000001 9900000099 (Internal)

system is accepting without error

but wen i am defining another series as below -

IP 9900000000 9989999999 (Internal)

system showing the error as -

Number ranges are overlap, i was unable to analyse y system is behaving like above.

Dear Goutham

Sorry, it was a typographical error.

Coming to your issue, for no.I0, since you have maintained the number range till 9900000099, the next available range should be 9900000100.

So try again as suggested above and post the outcome. In fact, as I said earlier, you just press F4, so that you can see the number ranges available and can be assigned.

thanks

hi goutham ,

how u give the same number ranges from internal andextranal.

u have to give the interval to that numbers then system takes properly.

u can give the intervels and try it .

like this internal--10000 to 10099

Extranl 10100 to 10199

u can solve the issue.

Hhi goutham ,

i think u can give the number range for internal and assignn the numbe range in account group.

u can assign the number ranges in accoutn group once .

spro -- Fin Accounting A/c recivable & A/c payable-customer account---master data ---Assign number ranges to customer groups.

And u can give same group, u can solve the issue
