IM_PS_Currency Issue !

Hi,

In IM-PS implementation i have few doubt, please clarify the below issues.

We assign budget in IM32, the currency in the budget is copied from Investment Program IM01, initially which is defined in IM01.

My client want to see the Company code currency in the IM34 Budget screen.

we are maintaining Single Controlling area currency USD with 2 Company code, INR & USD.

As per my client's requirement he want to see the Budget screen in INR and USD both with respect to company code which we maintain in IM22.

Please through some light on this, your reply is highly appreciated.

Maintain Object Currency, this should solv you problem.

Hi Rahul,

Check in t-code OIB1, for your used profile, what is assigned in "budgeting currency".

it has 3 types: Controlling area currency, Object currency and transaction currency. If the "default object currency" indicator is set, the relevant object is planned/budgeted by default in the object currency.

If you put any currency in IM22 for the positions, you will only be able to do budget in that currency.Because the object currency is defined there.

As i understood, your C A currency is USD, and your object currency is INR.

Also check how OB08 is being populated for your tests.

Hi Rahul,

In IM22, goto change Inv. Program Position by double click on the postion . In the "Organizational units" tab add the desired currencies to each position. This will give you the required output.
