Does anyone know the reason why LDAP support was discontinued with MDM SP03 ?

An LDAP solution is not supported by MDM for legal/copy right reasons.

I would like to know as well. We were planning to use LDAP for authentication. Now we have no enterprise-supported authentication solution.
