Hello Guys,
I am new to DMS. I wanted to know about the steps required to implement DMS in R/3 4.6c.
Can anybody please guide me.
How feasible is Easy DMS?

If possible try to attend or get the training material for the course PLM 120 - Document Management to get a full overview.
Document Management at the moment is very much at the heart of the PLM solution which SAP is trying to sell. In DMS you have the possibility to set up an SAP based DMS or a content server based DMS.
The main functional area is the DIR(document info record) which is a single point of reference(meta data) for the document. All links to existing objects(BOM, Material, Routings etc) is maintained here. Any information on prior versions can also be found there. The actual attachment is also visible. The actual storage location depends on the kind of solution you chose. SAP DMS / Content Server based.
