hi All,
Can any one let me know in which version of Windows VISTA can XI be implemented.
like Vista Basic, Vista Home,Vista Ultimate..............

if you want to use XI as a devleoper it's not the system relase that's important
it's the java version only

as I mentioned it's not java but java version and XI has to be installed with a specific java version

if you want to install XI server (not only dev tools) then vista is not the right OS as you came to know
XI 3.0 and 7.0 were released only for
WINDOWS SERVER 2003/IA32 32BIT
WINDOWS SERVER 2003/IA64 64BIT
WINDOWS SERVER 2003/X64 64BIT
and PI 7.1 for:
WINDOWS SERVER 2003/X64 64BIT
so you may be able to install it on vista but you may have many problems later on
I wouldn't suggest doing that
