change my sid ecc to pcc causes problems...

when i am going to change my sid ecc to pcc

then i found a problem

when i up my mmc

start pcc(SID) get an error

get processes list failed 80010105

the server threw an exception.

what can i do

your service should be names SAPPCC_00, not SAPPPP_00. anyway, I gave you a wrong answer... tis service is used to start SAP, not Oracle. Sorry for that.

you should have a service called OracleServicePCC. It must be existing and running.

The ONLY supported way to change the SAP SID is to make a system copy (either homogeneous or heterogeneous), so you will have to follow the guidelines given in the respective installations guide and sapnotes!

have you changed the profile parameters, environment variables, filesystem structure, etc accordingly

can you please provide an info what are the procedure you have followed?
