Error: M7279- Data for creating a delivery is incomplete (Vendor)

Hi!

I´m trying to Enter a Transfer Posting, using the MB1B transaction, from an IM warehouse to a WM warehouse managing Handling Units (HU).

When I try to save, the System displays an error:

"Data for creating a delivery is incomplete (Vendor)

Message no. M7279

Diagnosis

The system found that the data required to create a delivery via

Shipping is not complete.

System Response

The system cannot create a delivery.

Procedure

Check that the data for Vendor is maintained in your system:

o loading group

o debtor number

o sales organization

o distribution channel

o division

o shipping condition

o shipping point"

Does anyone know wich one could be the problem?

I'm looking for in customyzing but I didn´t found anything.

In your post itself, solution is there. You need to check in

- Loading group

- Debtor number

- Sales organization

- Distribution channel

- Division

- Shipping condition

- Shipping point

whether all the above are maintained in the respective areas

Dear Azeez

What movement type you have used ??

From your first post, it seems the warehouse to which you are trying to transfer the stock has not been created as a vendor or customer I believe.

Actually i missed assigning the customer number in vendor.

now the problem is solved.
