Did you tell SAP that they need to route your saprouter?

Hello,

The router was working fine till yesterday. But the license got over and we had to re-create the license.

After re-installing the license. We are getting this error.

Any idea?

Thanks

which system was re-licensed?

saprouter does not need a license.

That error is not license related.

SAP must configured their saprouter (in your case sapserv2a) to give access from your system/your saprouter to the OSS backend. This permission is denied.

Open an OSS call at XX-SER-NET and let the support guys check why your saprouter is missing in their configuration. There´s nothing else you can do about it because the problem is on SAP-site, not on your.

Dear Markus,

I found one note related to this issue.

Note 1009304 - No SNC connection set up by SAProuter despite 'KT' entry

Reason and Prerequisites

The connection setup, for example, to the OSS system (note database) via the SAProuter on sapserv2 may fail for this reason. The following error will appear in SAPGUI:

  • LOCATION SapRouter on sapserv2a

  • ERROR sapserv2a: route permission denied (194.39.131.5 to

oss001, sapmsO01)

  • TIME Wed Dec 13 12:55:39 2006

  • RELEASE 620

  • COMPONENT NI (network interface)

  • VERSION 36

  • RC -94

despite the following entry in the saprouttab:

KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" sapserv2

P * sapserv2 *

The following SAProuter versions are affected:

37.13 und 37.14 (Kernel Release 6.40)

38.5, 38.6 und 38.7 (Kernel Release 7.00)

Solution

The problem is solved as of the following SAProuter versions:

6.40: SAProuter Version 37.15

7.00: SAProuter Version 38.8

From where I can find this SAPRouter versions? I searched for SAProuter Version 38.8 in the marketplace, but without any luck

Can you please guide me? I could see only saprouter_12-20001568.sar in the list of Support Packs!!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Abhilash,

you already have a newer version of saprouter than the one mentioned at the SAP note: 39.2. You don't need to find the older one.

Add the line:

P * 194.39.131.34 *

to your saprouttab and try to connect again.

Hello all,

Thanks a lot for all your suggestions and guidelines.

I solved the issue.Just deleted everything and configured the SAPRouter once again.

Anyways now it is working fine.
