fixed asset as investment measure

Hi PS-IM experts,

can anyone tell me, in ima11-can we take investment measure as fixed Asset ? Not as Orders or Projects. how can we distribute the budget to the fixed asset and is there any availability control settings in investment management.

Fixed assets can not be used as the investment mesures. You can use the CO objects such as WBS, internal orders.. budget it and then control the expenditure.

Can I know for which purpose the Asset option is used for , in IMA11, in the tab Measures/Assets?

Your Appr Request will be replaced by a measure and then result in an asset. Entering the asset in this tab is only for information.

Do you say that we can't propose or take investment measures as Assets? right? pls confirm.

can we give the control the budget in Assets directly? if yes! How do we configure the availability control for budget exceeded process for asset without PS?
