is there any function module which gives sales order details from sales order number?

Why FM? You can get many details in VBAK (header), VBAP (item), VBFA (doc flow) & VBPA (partner) tables.

the data i require is in vbak,vbap,vbpa
instead of a query or a join i would like to check if there is any standard function module available
U can try the FM 'BS01_SALESORDER_GETDETAIL'
