Schedule line Number Inconsistencies

Hi Experts,

I have a sales order where I enter a BOM material.

When the sales order is created with BOM material, I have 2 items one is the

higher level item with Item Number 10 and

sub-item with Item Number 11.

The schedule lines are created for both the items.

Item 10 has schedule lines as 1 and 2...

Item 11 has schedule lines as 1 and 12...

We need to have a user-exit in place to copy all the schedule line dates from item 10 to item 11.

For that we need to have same schedule line numbers for item 10 and 11.

Is there any way to control the numbers of schedule line number (ETENR).

If yes, please let me know how to configure it.

Check the assignment of Schedule Line Categories to items categories:

IMG - Sales and Distribution - Sales - Sales Documents - Schedule Lines - Assign Schedule Line Categories.
