can ecc6, content server6.4 install on redhatEL5??

In https://websmp102.sap-ag.de/pam, I find that some sap software can only be installed on redhat 4 or 3,

If I want to install sap ecc6, and content server6.4, and solution manager7.0 on redhat EL5, is there any problem? Could you give me some advices? Or are there somebody have installed sap software on redhat 5?

Hi Victor,

ECC6, Content Server 6.40 and Solution Manager 7.0 are all allowed to run on RHEL5, check the PAM for these products. You have to look at "Database Platforms" for the certified operating system . I know, this sounds strange, but I cannot change this

Anyway, if there is any SAP application that is only available for RHEL4 for example, it will technically run on RHEL5 too, but maybe it was not tested in the same matter. In such cases, please open a customer call via the Service Marketplace and ask for assistance.
