Declaring Usage of DC in WDJ (NWCE 7.1)

Hi Experts,

I am trying to add a DC to the Used DC List of another DC. I am following instructions that are based on NWCE 7.0. However, in NWCE 7.1 this node seems to be disappeared (or maybe I just had a loose sight on it...)

Anyways, I would like to ask you guys where to find it?

Hi,

Right click on the DC->Development Component->ShowIn-> Component Properties

Select Dependencies tab

Click on add and add your DC to the dependency list from respective SC.

Ok, I have done that but how can I access the Models of one DC in the other DC now?

Hi,

I guess you have created the public part and exposed the model in DC1

Now in Dc2 to refer this model

Add dependency as mentioned above to DC1

Right click on used Components->Add Used component

Provide a name for the comp and select the component from the list.

Right click on add mOdel and refer to your model.
