SAPScript Converting from English to Chinese...

Hi all,

I found a few guides on converting SAPScript form's language from English to Chinese.

So i tried a few...

There is this form that I am working on that couldn't be translated...

I. At the SAPScript's Header page, i tick 'X' - Translate to Individual language

2. Then I go to SE63 to do the translation... -> It gives me error 'Invalid codepage for language Chinese'

Any other consideration I need to take care before I convert a SAPScript form's language?

Hi,

You can do it thru transaction SE71. Create the new form in ZH language and then choose the option copy from and specify the form name and the language that you want to copy. But you would have to do the translations manually.

Thanks for the suggestion... does that mean i have to login as ZH and create it from there?

Hi,

Goto SE71, Menu bar Utilities, Copy from Client.

Give the STandard form name,

Zform name.

Execute.

Back,

Give the copied form name, change language to DE

Menu bar, Utilities,

Convert Original Language to EN

Open the form in EN and do modifications,

Now goto SE76,

Give the Zform name, Target language as ZH

Click on Change, first with radio button on Description,

Click on Released,

Wait for it to complete, back

now again with radio button on Windows and Documentation

Change, after few minutes Released.
