Responsibilities of APO-DP consultant

Hi Friends,

i am Rajesh,i am new to this forum.

Can anyone post me what would be the exact role and responsibilities of APO - DP consultant who is having 6 months to one year experience in DP.

Demand Planning (APO DP)

- Completed Detail Project in APO-DP ( PPM u2013Production Process Modelling).

- Configuration and Support of the SAPu2013APO Demand Planning Application to meet business

- requirements. Creation of Infoobjcts ,Infocubes,Source Systems, Data Source,InfoPackage and

Transfer Structure etc.

- Creation of APO Architecture of integration, selection and transfer of master data as initial data transfer and change transfer and Corresponding Customizing settings.

-Creation of DP set up.

- Creation of forecast profiles.

-DP Interactive Planning (Univariate u2013 Constant and Trend Profile).

- DP Interactive Planning ( Seasonal Trend Profile)

- DP Interactive Planning Creation and Valuation of Promotion Planning.

-DP Interactive Planning Lifecycle Management.

- DP Interactive Planning MLR and Composite Profile.

- DP Pramotiionl Planning.

- DP Forcasting Errors.

-DP release to the Supply Network Planning (SNP) environment.

Hi Thanks for sharing the responsibilities of a APO Implementation Consultant.

However, I would like to also know what's the responsibility of a APO "Support" Consultants do on a daily basis. Like what kind of support jobs do they do everyday in the company.

Hi Rajesh,

U are fresher or experience in other tech ?...........

As a DP Consultant we need to involved in Implementation as well as Support.

Implmentation part:

Creation of DP building blocks like MPOS,SBP,Time buckets, PA, PB,DV and Selections ID's ets.....

and provide the Autharizations to Power users.

and then Extract the data from BW infocube to our PA's and also maintain the backup infocubes in DP,and maintan the mass processing process for DP to SNP (using Release Profile)and DP to R/3(using Trans Profile) here the PIR's transfer to snp and R/3 and Process chains.

based on your calender u need to generate forecasts like Statistical,baseline, consensus and Constrained forecasts.........
