Hi Gurus,

I have raised a few message from satellite system with different priority but when I check in the SOLMAN system the due date for all the system appears to be same ( create date + 3 days) How do I control / change this to define individual condition for each priority.

You help highly appreciated and will assign point accordingly

Thank you

Hello Sarvanan,

One solution if you use Service Level Agreement. In SLA you could link up the priority to the due date value.

Of course this functions only with transaction type SLF1 and positions in the message. Unfortunately with transaction type SLFN you cannot execute this request, because SLFN do not have any positions and agreements.

It means more customizing and NOT using the Standard SLFN transaction type.

Hi Amit,

But what differance does it make if I use SLFn which is std. trns for service desk? We can define and assign SLA to SLFN. Please clarify.

Hello Nikhil,

As I said earlier ..

SLFN do not have any positions and agreements.

This simply means that time specific SLA's cannot be attached to the standard SLFN transaction type.

I hope this simplifies my previous answer.
