ST04 creating ABAP Dumps

Hello Gurus,

I am trying to run TCode ST04, while running this TCode I am getting ABAP dumps

Runtime Errors : DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION

Error analysis

The program has been interrupted and cannot resume.

Program "SAPLS_ORA_COCKPIT_2" attempted to display fields on screen 0001.

An error occurred during the conversion of this data.

System is ECC6

Hi,

As per the Note 1227629, have to apply SAP_BASIS 700 SP17, but SP17 is not released in SMP.

Please help.

you must be kidding..SAP_BASIS 700 SP17 in available in SMP..

it comes in the SPS17

...Oh I see.. I just checked.. for ECC6, latest SPS13 contains SP15 of basis... then you can follow the link given in the note to download.

You can Apply SP17 but work around solution is also mentioned in the note. Instead of applying the support package you can do the manual corrections as described in the note. Implement step 1 and 2.

Step 1.

Se11 > database table> change--> change the length for Data type DEC from 12 to DEC 16 by changing the domain ST04N_NUMBER_16 from ST04N_NUMBER_12

Step 2.

From SE80 select as function group S_ORA_COCKPIT_2 under the screens select screen 0001 select the layout tab and change the length from 15 10 16 for all fields with length 15(there could be some other way to do this, talk to your ABAP consultant).

Many thanks, Yes SP17 is available in SMP. It has resolved the

problem of ST04 as my system was running with SP12.

I m facing the same Issue.

System Rel is 701 with SAp_BASIS SAPKB70102.

When i execute the ST04 i get abap Dump DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION

I have checked the ST04_ data and data type DEC has length 16...

Help me guys..!!
