Hi,

Have you tried R3trans -d program?

You can do something very easy,

from a command prompt enter

c:\set ORACLE_SID=(one of your oracle SID names)

then go to your SAP executables directory

the execute: C:\R3trans -d

This should end with 000, if it finishes with some other number please open in the same directory where you executed R3trans, open trans.log file with an text editor and paste it here.

If I'm not wrong, when you have two different oracle SID you cannot have an environment variable set like ORACLE_SID, the best is to look for notes about MCOD

good luck

But I don't think that this is an issue, cause some time I am getting success in the same Setting.

Yes Finally I Got the solution.

please check

>r3trans -d To Check Conectivity between Apps and DB Server.

If 000 then its OK- mean connectivity is OK, in this case all work.

        • when I was installing Second system then tnsname.ora and listner file was creating and privios system entry was removed. DUE to that reasion First one goes down.

Solution:- Both system entry should be Listner and tnsname file. Then Both server will work.

Hi Gokul,

I may be late to reply .But your issue seems to be related with database only as you are using Oracle .So after installation of second database you may need to follow SAP Note to maintain listener.ora and tnsnames.ora.

Go through this link [ORACLE DATABASE |http://gagankaushal.blogspot.com/2008/11/installing-two-oracle-databases-on-host.html]problem and follow note also as described there.

Dont go for uninstallation of System...

Dear Gagan Deep Kaushal,

I think you are wrong, cause both database is running fine.

And when I am login through SIDADM user in windows then I can able to login as sqlplus / as sysdba..

mean there is no password required OS user.

Mean database issue is not involved in this case.

I have going for reinstall both SID.

I am facing this frequently, so I have to have resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Hi Gokul,

If you dont have time then you can go for reinstallation. But if you can perform some research then please do it.Have you check r3trans -d for both the databases?I also faced same problem as i am using differnt products on same server. So its nothing like that we can't do it.
