SAP IS Retail - Replenishment at Stores,RP Type RR

HI,

I am trying to run replenishment for my stores.

I am using the RP type RR and have also maintained the planning cycle.

Here is the process I followed.

Run forecast for the article.This results in automatic calculation of safety stock.

Run WRP1 to generate replenishment requirement. The problem here is the replenisment requirement does not take into consideration the planning cycle. For example , if i have a planning cycle as Wednesday , logically when i execute WRP1 on Thursday , no replenishment should take place.

However , it runs and generates follow on documents irrelevant of the planning cycle maintained in article master.

In the customizing for RP type RR - the following have been maintained :

RP Procedure = W

Flag "Plan Regularly" has also been checked.

Forecast control data maintained.

Can somebody explain the reason for above discrepency?

Hi ,

I finally got an answer to my question.

The answer lies in Note 334510.

Its a missing functionality in retail.

I had to implement the note and now the process works fine.
