Backup/Restore ??

Hello all,

I need to perform backup & then restore of our PI System through SQL Server Management studuio..Can anyone pls send me the the link where I can get any guide for backup/restore of SQL Server 2005 through SQL Server Management studuio.

Hi,

In Management studio, expand databases. Right click on the database (SID) you want to take backup.

then task -> restore - > datadbase..

a window will popup.. give the necessary information .. from which divide you want to restore ..tape or disk and click OK.
