How the Payment terms will be effected in two sale orders and which is the best way to do. Tell me the configuration detailsu2026
Requirement:
Terms: this is differ (maintained in quantity Contract)
Advance : 10%
Material Sales order : 70%
Installation order : 15%
Rentation : 5%
Split billing : Material sales order 80% this we can do in Coding.
Installation sales order 20%
Forexample:
Payment terms: bill value is 10000.00
Advance : 10% 1000
MS : 70% 7000
IS : 15% 1500
R : 5% 500
For billing purpose MSO and ISO will be divided on the base of Ratiou2019s which is maintained in Contract. Say example; 80% and 20%
MSB 8000 (material sale billing)
Advance 10% 1000
Material sales order 70% 7000
Installation sales billing 2000
Installation sales order 15% 1500
Retention 5% 500
Even this also will differ (maintained in contract).
In material sales order I need Excise duty and sales tax
In Installation sales order I need service tax
Flow:
1. Master Contract
2. installation team will inspect the site , and gives original measurement that will maintain in Excel .
3. With master contract and excel sheet , we have to create the Material sales order 80% and installation order 20%

The best route for you is to go in for milestone billing. As soon as the milistone is reached you can bill the customer for the same.
This scenario you described is a project scenario and involves Project systems. In project systems the entire project is broken down into a work breakdown structure whic includes, material, laboour, machinery, machine costs etc.
The entire project can be broken down into several parts and the milestones also can be placed in the structure and as and when its reached it triggers a request for billing in SD. Thats the best ofcourse.
