Migracion 2005A a 2007A

Hola a todos,

Tengo una duda, voy a comenzar a migrar los clientes que tengo a la 2007A, pero no estoy muy enterado de como es el proceso de migracion, por lo que tengo entendido la migracion en si es transparente el problema esta en la reconciliacion y mi duda viene por eso.. que es lo que tengo que hacer en la version 2005A para que no me muestre errores el sistema?. Hay alguna guia, un ejecutable que me ayude en este tema??. espero que puedan ayudarme.

Hi,

I hope i have understood you correctly. You are searching for the documentation on the 2007A version, the reconciliation aspect.

Please check the follows :

To download the IRU tool, please go to the IRU landing page:

On the right hand side, for the sim tool for the A version, click on:

Install and run the "IRU pre-

upgrade" tool for 2007 A

Left click on 'Install and run the "IRU pre- upgrade" tool for 2007 A' & you're redirected to the download area. Place a tick in the box on the left hand side & click on 'Add to download basket'.

You're then redirected to your download basket, click on the orange field 'Downlaod Basket' & get the list of downlaodable files.

Rightclick on 'SAP B1 Reconciliation Engine 2007 A' & tell Windows where & under what name to save the file, clcik on 'Save'.

You will also find available for download 2007 A & B upgrade simulation tools. SAP recommends to subject a database that is planned to be upgraded

This upgrade simulation tool employs all internal reconciliation upgrade algorithms & the application will display in the 'Internal

Reconciliation Upgrade Audit Trail Report' if a database is affected by inconcistencies.

Hi Christian,

In order to determine the inconsistent reconciliations being done in the system request you to kindly check Note No. [1051038|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1odSZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1051038] which leads to path to the IRU - Landing Page from where you can download and run the Upgrade Simulation Tool on the COPY of the Live database on the Test Enviorment and gauge the internal reconciliation inconsistency impact on the customer's database.

Please refer to the ample information on the IRU Landing Page: the How to Guide and the Expert Empowerment Sessions which explains the cases/scenarios that would be obtained.

The Upgrade Simulation Tool will be at 2007A which is only available to check the Inconsitent Reconciliations through a New window under Utilities > Inconsistent Audit Trail Report.

I installed the IRU tools, but when i execute the client that show me the following message of error..

So what does mean that??.. i can´t do anything until 2007A version??.. but where i installed the IRU tools is on the pc that have 2005A SBO.

Hi,

Please check the supported platform for SAP Business One 2007 at www.service.sap.com/smb/sbo/platforms

example : Windows 2000 is not a supported platform for SAP

Business One 2007.

Please check at the link and the supported platforms.
