could you explain its main funtions in the projects for sales?

for example, billing or progress analysis?

how it can be achieved?

Hi Judy Jhu,

Milestones are defined in the projects and attached to the WBS elements/ Networks. They can be used for automatic triggering of customer billing when they are attached to the SD billing plan. On confirmation of the Milestone dates in the project, the billing block in the SD will be removed facilitating the billing. For this you need to have a revenue/billing plan in the project and attach the milestones for the revenue plan. On saving the project, the system generates a unique revenue/ billing plan number which needs to be attached to the SD billing plan.

Milestone Trend Analysis can be used for progress determination in the project as a part of reporting.
