Hi,
I have local installation on my machine with MDM 5.5 SP6 running on SQL Server. I was working in Data Manager yesterday and then put my machine on hibernate. When I started my machine today, Data Manager was crashed. I did the following:
Restart Data Manager: It said repository not loaded.
Console: Showed repository as running
I then rebooted the machine.
Console: Able to connect to repository, but load repository option disabled.
Verify repository option is enabled and shows no errors.
Repair option is disabled.
All other option are disabled in console
then I Restarted MDM server
Console: Able to connect to repository, but load repository option disabled.
Then I tested the SQL Server and found it to be running fine
Then I stopped MDM Server, SQL Server and started them (first sql server and then MDM server)
same issues.
I then removed repository info from MDM.ini file and restarted every thing again.
Now when I mount the server in console I see no repositories. Options to create new repository or mount repository are disabled.
Please help!
Regards,
Imran Zafar
Hi Imran,
Try the following:
- Uninstall the 4 GUI's Console,Data Manager,Import and Syndicator.
- Then Stop and Start the MDM server from the services in case you have already tried reinstalling the MDM server.
- Once you have started your MDM service n its working fine also check to see your DBMS settings and Listener setting are running fine
- Once all's working as expected try installing your GUI.
- Then restart your machine
- Open your Console and try performing the actions
Hope It Helped
Thanks & Regards
