how to install standby serve (HA) cluster

hi friends

how to install the standby server .

os / redhad linux 5.0

db/ oracle

sap / ecc, ep

my requirments are installing ecc, ep in one(A) box . (production box)

and standby server on second (B)box. what ever the data that is there in A box need to be there in B box

if the serve A is down automatically it should point to B box . how to install it? what are the are the pre requistites that need to be taken for clustering. Is there any data technics that need to fallow ?

Hi,

What you describe seems to be a disaster recovery standby database server and not a High Availability cluster.

You need to know exactly waht you want !

Hi,

I suggest that you read the Oracle documentation about standby database, that you understand it and that you apply it.

This kind of complex information is NOT possible to explain with a few words in a forum post...
