Send e-mail to Vendors when Close Bid Invitation

I have a issue with SRM.

In Process BID Invitation, when the Bid is close by the button action "Close", Is possible to send an e-mail to the selected vendors, advising them about the closure of the BID invitation? Can I do this thru any BADI or another solution?

I think that in Auction, when I CLOSE them, an email is send to the vendors. Am I correct about this?

Can anyone please tell me how I can solve this problem?

This problem can be the Configuration? Is a SRM Problem or ABAP Problem?

But in the Smartform BBP_OUTPUT_COVER, in Auction, have an Event Close (TE_WITHDRAW_AUC_P01) and this task send an email with the message: the following auction has been canceled.

I create a folder in BID Invitation and copy the TE_WITHDRAW_AUC_P01, but when I execute the SRM, the email is not send.

Dinesh Powale, if I define as an Closure event, the email will be send?

Hi Edgard,

"BBP_OUTPUT_COVER" is the smartform that is used to send the email texts.

You can even find the Auction cancellation text in it.

Can you try to see whether you can modify this form to accomodate the BID closure text.

You may also have to modify the class "CL_BBP_MESSAGE_CREATE" / "CL_BBP_MESSAGE_CREATE_OUT".

don't think Auction closure triggers a mail.

For yr BI closure requirement you can use SRM altert management,

Define BI closure as an event and set message alert for it.

Have not used it but you can find info under path

SRM IMG>Supplier Relationship Management>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Event and Event Schema for Alert Management>Define Event Schema
