Hi All,
I have a opportunity to join support team of AFS.
However I would require you input to take the right career move.
According to my understanding AFS consists of mainly 3 modules : SD,MM and PP,
1.Does this gives me a good oppurtunity to understand/learn all the 3 modules.
or
This would restrict me only to AFS product and hence risky?
2.I have had dicussions with a few consultants and they have a opinion that functional career path is more rewarding interms of knowledge and good in a long term. Is this true?
3. Also how are the future prospects for AFS consultants ,considering 3-4 years of horizon?
Kindly suggest. I am in great need of help!
Best Regards

Hi Dear,
01. Its true that AFS mainly consists of three modules. FICO is also involved with some functionalities like split valuation in detail. WM , HUM and QM are also added with some features of AFS . AFS does provide opportunity to learn other modules also.
02.AFS path is rewarding wrt to Long term goal.
03. AFS future looks bright.

Dear Raj,
thanks for sharing you opinion. My only concern was that one could get very restricted to niche area of AFS application.
But from you suggestion I feel its not the case, instead you would get general Functional knowledge about MM/PP/SD.
And then further based on your interest Master in specific module.
Iam I right..?
Thanks a ton for you mentoring..:)
