j2ee restart?

Hi Friends,

Its a support issue.Just for the maintanance we want to restart the j2ee engine. Will the messages which passed at that moment fail in integration and adapter engine or its better to restart the java stack in the non business hours.

Hi Suresh,

The messages will stay in their respective queues and cannot get lost. You can restart the java stack anytime. we have done it so many times even during peak hours, we never lost any message.

The message will reside in queue and when ur server restarts XI will start processing the message which are placed in queue.

but better to do it in non business hour
