Object depedency linking Batch class & Material Class

Dear All,

I have a question regarding object dependencies. I want to create a dependency on a batch class characteristic, but one of the inputs for the dependency will come from the material classification view in a material class.

Is this possible in standard SAP by either using a function module or by directly referring to the table AUSP? If yes, can someone provide me some sample coding for this?

Hi,

You can use the standard function module defined for retrieving the batch classification data

FM Name: CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS

Just provide the CLASS, CLASS TYPE, OBJECT & OBJECT TABLE as MCH1.

About your message, that function module that you mention can work in a reversal way? UNASSIGNING the class from a material?
