Run time error

Hi experts

While creating customer master and material master record , system throws "run time error " short text is "the current ABAP/4 program has encountered an unexpected situation "

Could I know what could be the reason and how to solve it please.

You would need to provide more details.

Try to view the error in ST22/SM21 to find dump/update error logs.

Thanks For yor input , I tried in ST22 , name of the runtime error is below .

RAISE_EXCEPTION 2 490766263DAF00C8E1008000097C2FFA

What should I have to do to correct this error please .

Dear jayapala

Check in another system whether you are getting the same error. Might be due to some VIRUS problems in the PC from which you are trying to create customer master. Check with your basis team whether any virus is there in that PC which should be cleaned immediately.

Nevertheless, I feel you must load newest microsoft patches which could be the reason.

U take drop down in the dump and find the

sgin >>>>> that is the area of problem.

Take the same with yr ABAPer he will help you out.
