Bin to Bin Transfer

How do we do a bin to bin transfer when it is not HU managed.I try to create a TO to move stock from the source bin but the destination bin gets populated automatically and i cannot change it. ijust needto move stock from one bin to the other in the same storage type.

Hi Kiran,

What are you doing exactly?

- what is the business process?

- how are you trying to realize it? (did you try to create a TO processing a TR? Which transactions did you try to use?)

E.g. you do picking for outbound deliveries processing the transfer requirement (TR), you won't be able to change the destination bin. In this process the destination bin is given (fix), you have to find the source storage bins. (stock removal process, picking process)

If your desire is only to move quants (stock) from one WH bin to another WH bin, you should try LT01 / LT10.

Hai

goto LT10 specify wno,material,bin and execute

click on TO foreground and specify the destination bin and storage type

check the confirm TO and click on copy

Use transaction LT01

Enter Whse, Mov type, Material, Qty,stock cat (if required) plant, sloc, Batch and click enter

In the next screen click on stock removal forground icon or (F5) will take to next screen.

Here if the source and the destination data has populated automatically as you said which is based on search strategy.

Just Change the destination data (sto type, sec, stor bin,SU number as required (pick the data from LS26 for your mateiral) and enter.

**"W Check your enteries"** message will come.

again enter and save. TO will get created. Confirm the TO using LT12.

Please use LT10 ,in this you mention warehouse , storage type & bin from which material is to be transfered& then execute. This will take you to stock transfer overview screen where you can select the line of storage bin & press stock transfer foreground button. After pressing it will take you to screen "Specify destination data "where you can select required storage type & bin. After selecting these details you can press copy & then system creats TO for you.

If you select display log it will display TO.

Use LT10. Put the source type and bin and hit execute. Inside you can select the material you want to move. Then click on put foreground, there you can specify the destination bin.

If you use LT01 your destination might get populated automatically because of your strategies but just overtype them with where you want it to go and if it is allowed then it will work
