Apply control record values from payload

In the receiver idoc adapter there is an option "Apply control Record Values from payload". What is the significance of this ? It should be checked or unchecked? Will this option throws errors ?

In the receiver idoc adapter there is an option "Apply control Record Values from payload". What is the significance of this

This option you can use when you have with party communication and you can use these for systems which are not logical systems of your SLD.

Otherwise all communication will by default considered as without party communication. If the IDOC is having some control record during outbound processing then this option will reject and create IDOC again.

Even this option can be used to include additional values to control records.

It should be checked or unchecked? Will this option throws errors ?

Use as per requirement and control record existence. yes this option does throw error.
