Hi all,
For security purposes, I've been asked to copy XI standard roles (SAP_XI_DISPLAY_USER, SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR and so on) to new ones. So I went to PFCG transaction and copy the roles.
When using the copy roles, it works fine on the ABAP part, but I always get a 403 Forbidden message (You are not authorized to view the requested resource) on the JAVA part.
Did i missed something ? I am using SAP PI 7.0 SP16.
Any idea ?
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

Hi Richard,
I am having the same problem. Can you please tell me what did you do to resolve this issue? Did you implement any SAP notes?

Hi all,
SAP told me that the SAP PI standard simple roles cannot be copied.
Best regards.

Hi
Check for all of these.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/d4/d12940cbf2195de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE is there or not.
Do you have groups define for display, etc then you recheck SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR roles assigned.
Thanks
Gaurav

Hi,
Maybe I did not make myself clear. I do not want to use standard roles. I want to duplicate them and to use the duplicated ones.
When I do so, the duplicated ones are working fine for the ABAP part but I have absolutely no accès to the JAVA part (403 Forbidden).
Do you experienced the same behaviour ? Did you find a solution ?
Thanks a lot
