Information about the SAPHostAgent

Hi there,

I installed the SAPHostAgent on Linux. This should be the basement for the ACC.

My question is, where do I find informations (with Links) which contain the functions of the agent.:

e.g. what does the agent exactly do and what is the agent able to do (functional range).

Actually I only found Installation hints.

The interesting part is for me: can the SAPHostAgent (running in Hostmode) restart the sapstartsr.srv of an instance automatically,

if the sapstartsrv was killed.

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe gerade den SAPHostAgent auf Linux installiert. Dies soll die Grundlage werden für ACC.

Wo finde ich Informationen (bitte Links) in denen steht, was der SAPHostAgent alles kann und was er genau macht.

Ich finde dazu leider nur wenige Infos, die nicht wirklich über eine Installation hinausgehen.

Was mich dabei interessiert wäre, ob es möglich ist, wenn der SAPHostAgent läuft und die sapstartsrv (executable) bei einer Instanz "wegfliegt" ob er diese automatisch nachstartet oder diese nachstarten kann.
