Hello All,
We are getting TIME_OUT dump while accessing NAST table in one of our PROD system
IN SE11 tcode for Displaying NAST table "Number of Entries"
it is giving too much time and after that giving time out dump
Any suggestions .
Regards,
Amber S

The "select count(*)" is taking too long.
What database version are you using? Are the statistics of the table NAST up-to-date?

Dear Amber,
as Markus already mentioned please have a look onto the statistics of your database optimizer. We solved a lot of such problems in several SAP systems be updating the database optimizer statistics.
Beside you may have a look onto the indexes of the table as well as the buffering.
Hope this helps.

André

Please ask the developer to create the required indexes on it if required.
Also let us know the oracle release and patch you have?
