PI 7.1 supports 32bit OS?

Hi,

Does 32 bit OS supports PI 7.1 or Do we definitely need 64 bit OS for PI 7.1

Checking the PAM, it seems that only 64Bit version of Linux and Windows are supported.

It's a standing recommendation to use a 64Bit OS from NW2004s and newer.

Thanks for your response. Would it be worth giving a try with 32 bit OS for 7.1; else it is definitely sure that PI 7.1 needs 64 bit OS.

Hello Paul,

I don't know if you'll be able to install it on a 32Bit OS. We've seen master DVD's where certain options were no longer available in the 32Bit version. Also, the installer might run a check.

You can give it a try for testing purposes, but to really start using it I'd stick to the recommendations from SAP (with regards to support).
