Hi all,

My system is Solution manager 7.0 (AS JAVA+ AS ABAP)on linux EL4.

I observe a circumstance that the memory usage increase each time when i stop SAP system(don't restart OS).

This circumstance also appear in my EP system.

Does anyone have the same circumstance and how to solve it ?

if you stop the system and the memory consumption is rising you can check if there are still processes on os-level running. kill such "zombie"-processes.

hi.

in his case you should restart the server 🐵

we run some servers on linux too - ours is SLES. we had a problem that the machines ran out of memory. reason was an error in the kernel (linux)... maybe you should search that way...

regards,

martin

I think you should do ps check to see what process is still running, and use an external memory viewer to check it.
