support packages dependencies

Hi all,

We are in our way to implement HCM support packs, that's componenets EA-HR and SAP-HR, but we're not sure if there's any "dependency" to other components and need to upgrade other components. Is there such "dependency"? And if so how can I know if there's any dependency?

Hi Samer,

SAP_HR should be dependent on SAP_BASIS & SAP_ABA components. So you would need a minimum of these components before you can apply SAP_HR support package.

You can search for the release note for the SAP_HR support package, which will mention the minimum requirements.

I'm not sure about EA-HR.

thank you much! I've looked into the information that comes with the SPs and found out the dependencies. Thanks again!

you can also check in transaction SPAM.

After you load the SPs, you can check in view new support packages (down left of the screen).

Then you expand the sp, and you can check all the dependencies, and those that was achived and those that wasn't achived.
