Data carriar

Hi,

I have to create data carriar as defult when I create original in CV02N.

How can I do it ?

Hi Aviva

Create profile in document management system under General data--- profile.

In that profile you can define default data carrier, and assign that profile to the user.

Then while creation of original, you can get the default data carrier.

I want to ask if i have to define all the applic. , or i can define one for all.

if i want to add user' i have to configure it ?

the role that i have to select is only standart ?

Hi,

Data carrier is the medium through which the data/attachments is stored and maintained

In DMS, by default, data carrier is set as PC.

HI, Aviva,

i am not sure, u have to create Doc In CV01 and if u want change use CV02, and add some WSA files ok.

before this, u should configure define data carriar, set there default as PC by double cliking of DEFAULT tab,

here is some trike that will automatically set ur front end as

PC as Defult.

Based on our experience we are using different data carrier type name instead of PC in DC20. but in DC30 for defining work station applications in network use the same data carrier type name as defined in DC20 while selecting data carrier type.
