HI All,
I have a scenario wherein I need to give aq discount for a material based on the order date. For eg: if the material is ordered within 30 days from today, I should give 10 % discount. If it is ordered from 31 to 60 days, then 15% discount and from 61 to 90 a discount of 20% should apply and from 91st day, no discount at all. I know we have to use scales but somehow am not able to understand how to do this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Vidya

hi
here's a suggestion, do you use characteristics in SO? if so, add an characteristic value in the material as "order data", code a few lines of dependencies and build up a variant table to it. when you creat a SO, enter the date that you want in this date characteristic and it will give the price you want.
it's just one of many solutions. might be helpful.
