Hi All

I have installed a SAP NetWeaver Trial ABAP+JAVA running under VMWARE ([|]) . It does work nice ! But I would like to use my SAP GUI for Windows which runs on the machine which hosts the VM machine... What are parameters I have to use to do it ?

Thanks all for your helpful messages

Best regards

Jerome

Are you able to connect your VMware mashine through
vmwarehostname? In this case you need to create network bridge to your VMware server and include both on one network, like 192.168.10.10 for your server and 192.168.10.11 for your VMWARE server ....

Check in VMWARE documentations, or in google how you can do it, If ping are successfully and firewalls+antivirus software are disabled (or correctly configured)

after in gui specify --> 192.168.10.11 and check

P.S. read in your link

4 Access the system

SYSTEM ID = N4S (ir's your SAPs SID, as i can see per blog ...)

SYSTEM NUMBER = by default it's 00, if you can any other try to check under

/usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGSNN where NN are your system number ...

Application server --> server name , execute in console

"hostname" and you can see your server name ....
