Good day
I am in the process of installing SAP ERP 6 (ABAP + JAVA) on Red Had Linux 5 and DB2 9.1. The installation stopped at the last starting and stopping of the ABAP instances. I stopped the installation and fixed the error.
Now when I try to rerun sapinst from the installation dir. I get the flowing issue.
"You start the installation without specifying a startup file via SAPINST_CONTROL_URL in the directory /tmp. The framework asumes that control.xml or product.catalog has to be used but there exist now such file. If there exist a installation with a different startup filename please specify that filename via SAPINST_CONTROL_URAL."
How do I get pass this message and restart my Installation?
David
Linux boxes have a tendency to remove everything out of the /tmp directory when restarted. Was the system restarted?
Just wondering.
