mantain field as mandatory in sales order

All

While am excuting sales order(va01) i want to mantain the field as mandatory- field is USAGE.

so how to mantain this field as mandatory in my sales order and what is the process to follow, pls kindly tell me.

2 ways of doing this.

1) Make the Usage field mandatory by assigning it in your incompletion procedure.

2) Use SDHO to create a transaction variant of VA01 screens and make the field mandatory in the screen variant.

Dear Sunil

Go to OVA2, block Incompletion group "Sales - Item" and double click on "Procedures". There again block Procedure "20 - Standard Item" and click on Fields. There maintain the following:-

Table:::Fld name::::Description::::::::Screen::::Status:::Warning

VBAP:::::VKAUS::::::::Usage::::::::::::::PKAU::::::01::::::::X
