Roles In SAP

Hello Experts,

Are there any standard role in SAP for SD, MM, or HR. My requirement is to assign a user only SD role so that he can execute the SD related BAPI only. Not other than SD BAPIs. Similarly if user is assigned FICO role , he can execute FICO BAPIs only, not other than FICO.

Any HELP would be appreciated.

Hi Prashant,

SAP provides several standard roles for each function module.You can find those roles through PFCG.From the role templates available you will need to find one that suits your needs and then create a custom role from that template & modify the role according to your requirement.

Not sure,if any role exists only for BAPI's corresponding to each function module.

Hi Prashant,

yeah I agree with the earlier reply.

There one more way you can find the SAP standard roles, you need to go to SUIM tcode and in the roles - roles by compex selection criteria you can give sap* and you can getta list of all sap standard roles for each functional module.
