Dear Rajesh
Apart from suggestions given already, you also have to control giving authorisation of VL01N bcoz, even after maintaining all those controls, you can generate partial delivery via VL01N.
In order to control this
- cut authorization of accessing VL01N
- give authorisation to access only VL04
thanks

Hi Rajesh
Partial Delivery indicator can be set in three place as per requirement.
They are,
1. Customer master
2. Customer -Material Info record
3. Sales order.
If you set in the Customer master data (in Sales area data > Shipping tab), then you can mark "C", which means whenever this customer orders ,all the quantity has to supplied in one go (completly), no partial delivery will be allowed.
This is an indicator as a whole for the customerI
f you want for a particular material always supplied comletely for the customer, then we set in the Customer Material Info record.
That means, the customer may accept partial delivery for other materials but not for this particular material. So this is item level indicator.
In the Sales order, in the overview screen, you will find a check box"complete delivery". If you cativate this ,then this meant for that particular order only.
Even in the item details of the sales order also you can set the indicator for each item and they are applicable for that sales order only.
As per the requirement , we set the indicator in the respective place.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. But please clarify.
Our customer master in Sales Area Data -> Shipping has only the following parameters.
1.Delivery Priority
2. Shipping Conditions
3.Delivery Plant
4. Relevant for POD
5. POD time frame
6. Order Combination
Apart from the above, there is no other field. Can you advise any source is there to add the field, as advised by you.
Regards/Rajesh
Hi there,
In VD02 --> Sales area data --> Shipping --> Partial deliveries --> PArtial delivery per item select option C. Also check the field complete delivery required by law.
In the Max partial deliveries field enter 0.
This will stop creating paitial deliveries for the item.

Sivanand

Hi,
If you want to control this for a specific sales order, please go to VA02 > menu > Go to > Header > Shipping - here set "Complete delivery" indicator (it gives a warning message as default, maybe it is possible to set as error message)
You can control partial deliveries at item level also > go to shipping tab at item level, and you will find the suitable field ("Part. dlv. item").
(you can set these in customer master if you want the settings to be valid for all the SOs of that customer)

HI Rajesh
Better u go to XD02 -- Customer Master data.. in that SALES DATA - Shipping Tab- Check Complete Delivery By Law
Keep 'C' in Partial Delivery field (C-Completed Delivery)
If u keep these setting then in delivery it will not allow you to do partial delivery.
If any quries revert back to me
Regards
Srinivas.
