Determination for Drop ship and marshalling

What is the driving factor which determines whether a delivery from vendor is a drop ship or marshalling (non-drop ship). Which setting drives this process?

Generally I believe shipping condition plays the role of dropship or non dropship.

The dropship scenario will happen in following ways.

*1.Shipping condition in sales order will be dropship. We were using shipping condition 0001.I don't know standard.

*2.Vendor will send ASN & inbound delivery will be posted if you are using confirmation control key for PO. After inbound delivery you can set job which will post good receipt.

3.You can create one output type for GR document. This output will further create auto delivery for dropship.
