Does WD have a simple to implement feature similar to SAPGUIs GET/SET parameter IDs that will remember field values from screen to screen? ...or would all of the GET and SET calls have to be coded explicitly?
My apologies if this is a dumb question - i'm functional
There is no direct correlation to the PID in WDA. You can via personalization have a field value remembered for that particluar input field. It does't cross applications or even screens however. To access this functionality - just right mouse click within an input field and choose User Settings->Use Current Value as Default.

Hey Kevin,
Since the value of each field is picked from the context node attributes, the field values are maintained until the node values are manually(programmatically) removed. This also depends on the lifetime defined for the view (In the properties tab for the view).
